Youth Consultation

MECA regularly holds youth consultation which sought to obtain a better understanding of the issues that impact upon the young people that use services. The consultations are held at the Mount Druitt Hub. Youth are able to come and voice their needs and the needs of their community. Young people identify their priorities as education, employment and family life. Participants are then able to set goals and devise avenues on how to achieve those goals. MECA uses this information to inform the development of future programs for youth.
