Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) – Voucher Services
MECA receives vouchers from the Department of Trade and Investment to assist eligible clients with emergency energy payments. Clients that experience significant financial hardship, are unable to afford their basic needs or are unable to pay their energy bill can seek support through this program. The majority of energy retailers in NSW participate in the program. This allows MECA to provide crisis support to a large number of people in the local area.
