Heart set on arts space for young people in Sydney’s west

AN ACCESSIBLE art space for young people at Mt Druitt is high on the wish list of a multicultural organisation.
Mt Druitt Ethnic Communities Agency (MECA) works with residents to help migrants, refugees and emerging communities.
Manager Amie Hope said the area desperately needed a suitable space for young people to make short films and other arts projects.
“But it would need to be accessible and not closed on the weekend,” Ms Hope said.
