I have always been drawn to the not for profit world, after working overseas with the International Organisation for Migration. I returned home to enjoy the direct impact and creativity that only a community organisation can provide. I have a keen interest in people and migration which led me to complete a Bachelor of International Studies, a course in Forced Migration at Oxford University and more recently Social Change Leadership
at New York University. I have worked in a variety of areas in Migration including, refugee camps, cultural orientation training and resettlement. I love the opportunity for social change that managing MECA provides and I am very happy spending my days surrounded by inspiring colleagues and volunteers and a vibrant community.
